The Rhode Island State Firefighter’s League’s (RISFL) object and purpose is to unite the firefighters of the State of Rhode Island through the local Fire/EMS Associations for social, instructive, educational, and legislative purposes, and to establish and perpetuate a mutual benefit for all firefighters in the State of Rhode Island, who are Members of the Fire/EMS Associations, affiliated with the League.
The RISFL represents the volunteer fire and emergency services of Rhode Island at the national level on the NVFC board. The NVFC is the leading nonprofit association representing volunteer fire, EMS, and rescue personnel nationwide. The NVFC serves as the unified voice for the volunteer in the federal legislature and policy-making arenas and addresses critical issues such as grants and funding, training, volunteer retention and recruitment, and first responder health and safety.

With a special offer for you, available only through the Rhode Island State Firefighters’ League you can become a part of this voice and also the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) at a discounted rate of $25.00 per year. Membership dues are typically $25.00 per firefighter for the RISFL; but the RISFL is offering to pay the NVFC membership dues for every RISFL individual member that joins the RISFL.

Once your paid application is received, RISFL will then pay your NVFC membership dues.
